2012-MIDWEST MATCH TEAM!  Looking for top Ohio barrel racers to fill spots on 2012 A & B team for Midwest Match. Event should be the end of September 2012 and is hosted by Kentucky in 2012.  This could be your once in a life time to represent the state of Ohio and barrel race as a team event rider.    I advise everyone to think about this chance and keep running for the opportunity to represent OHIO in a multi state competition!   Just a note to any of you members, Ohio does not have a mens association. After the girls run each day..there is, also, a mens match race. WE need to build a mens(10 riders) team. Their cost will be $40 per person, also! You get 2 runs and a chance to win average and daily awards.  SO...lets round up those men riders and show the other states that we are the best barrel racers in the region.

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD MEN TO FILL OHIO MENS TEAM. No qualifying needed. Price is as listed above.

 

Regarding Match team competition, many of you ask..WHAT do we run for? Team Money, Saddle for Average. Fastest Time award.  If you pay your entry fee for day money...which is paid in a 4D format, you have a chance to win $$$ based on your individual time! Lots of $ and stuff.

It is always a good time to remind OGBRA members that this club is run by YOU the members. It is only by MEMBER participation, that Ohio Girls Barrel Racing Association continues.  We are not run by some organization miles away nor by some stranger who dictates rules and awards you have no hand in. This is YOUR club. If OGBRA has a rule you dont like or a rule you think should be added..YOU can have a part in making it better.  Remember, all OGBRA records are available for viewing upon request.

Text Box: THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who helped in any way at the New Year Spectacular "you" were truly appreciated.     OGBRA requires members to obtain a minimum $25 donation to the club 'must work project' as well as work a minimum of 2 hours toward OGBRA's club 'must work project'. If you can not do the work minimum, you are required to pay a penalty of $12 to cover the cost of paying someone to work in your place at the 'must work project'.  Any must work values not paid will be deducted from award values at year end.
