Ohio to host the 2011 Matches!!

 

2010 Midwest Matches will be Oct. 15,16, 17 @ Iowa Equestrian Center, Kirkwood College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa
     

 

November 1st 2009 begins Ohio Girls Barrel Racing Association's 2010 season. IF you have been a member in 2009 and you would like to remain a member for 2010, you must rejoin before a show to receive 2010 points. OGBRA is, now, accepting shows for 2010. If you have a show that you think you would like OGBRA  to be a part of, NOW is the time to talk to them. IF you arent sure what to say or how to do that...contact Beth Weaver or Jan Colson for help.

New Year Spectacular: THANK YOU EVERYONE! for your help at the New Year Spectacular. OGBRA members raised  $122 from working at this show. Your help was GREATLY appreciated!

OGBRA SPRING SPECTACULAR...April 30th and May 1st. Fulton Cty Fairgrounds, Wauseon, OH

  This show is an OGBRA member must work/raise money project.

 

It is always a good time to remind OGBRA members that this club is run by YOU the members. It is only with MEMBER participation, that Ohio Girls Barrel Racing Association continues.  We are not run by some organization miles away nor by some stranger who dictates rules and awards you have no hand in. This club is YOUR club. If OGBRA has a rule you dont like or a rule you think should be added..YOU can have a part in making it better.  Remember, OGBRA records are available for viewing upon request. 

 

 

****** NEW MEMBERS and REMINDER TO OLD MEMBERS******

 

OGBRA requires members to obtain a minimum $25 donation to the club 'must work project' as well as work a minimum of 2 hours toward OGBRA's club 'must work project'. If you can not do the work minimum, you are required to pay a penalty of $16 to cover the cost of paying someone to work in your place at the 'must work project'.

 

In addition: OGBRA requires members to attend the Annual Fall Meeting. If you can not attend this meeting, to remain a member in good standing(receive your rewards), said member must send an excuse to the President or Secretary explaining why you did not attend. Excuse must be received within 24 hours after the meeting. IF you do not attend the meeting or do not send and excuse...your points for the current year will be dropped.
